TERMS & CONDITIONS

General Conditions:

  1. The following terms and conditions define the conditions of using the services of Atlantic Squash and Fitness Club in Cracow, henceforth referred to as the Club
  2. Joining the Club is only possible after reading these terms and conditions and confirming the will to follow them with your signature. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you are not allowed to use the Club’s services
  3. Children under the age of 12 may be present within the Club’s premises only under supervision and responsibility of their parents or adult minders who are the Club’s customers. Children are required to follow all the rules which apply to the Club’s adult customers.
  4. Teenagers under the age of 16 are not allowed to participate in classes and trainings, teenagers between the age of 16 and 18 are allowed to participate in classes and trainings only following a written agreement of a parent or a legal guardian.
  5. Within the Club’s premises it is forbidden to:
    1. Bring in and drink alcoholic beverages
    1. Smoke tobacco
    1. Use steroids, drugs, or allow anyone using these substances to enter the Club
    1. Bring in animals
    1. Trade and sales canvass
    1. Post or leave advertisements without the knowledge and agreement of the Club’s manager
  1. Any damage to the Club’s property caused by a customer’s actions or negligence results in that customer’s full financial responsibility
  1. Customers are required to keep their belongings in the lockers provided only for the time they remain in the Club. Valuable belongings should be deposited at the reception desk free of charge.
  2. In case a customer leaves their belongings and takes the key with them upon leaving, the items will be taken out and made available for retrieval at the Club’s reception desk. In case the locker is locked, the customer will be charged 50 zł for replacing the lock.
  3. The Club’s equipment must be used as intended and as instructed by the Club’s employees. The Club bears no responsibility for any harm resulting from using the Club’s equipment or participating in classes.
  4. The Club bears no responsibility for any customer’s belongings left unattended, which includes their loss or damage.
  1. In case a customer does not follow these terms and conditions or the Club’s order regulations, the Club has the right to remove that customer from the members’ list without the right to refund previously purchased services.
  2. Customers have the right to appeal against the decision in writing to the Club’s chairman.
  1. Personal trainers are required to register all trainings performed in the Club and to pay appropriate fees for each training according to the price list available at the reception desk. In case a personal trainer does not follow these rules, the Club has the right to remove that trainer from the members’ list and not allow them to use the facility any longer.

  1. Each customer using the Club’s services is required to purchase a magnetic card allowing them to move freely within the appropriate zones in the Club. The zones are saunas, squash courts, fitness rooms, gym and apartments.
  2. Paying the member’s fee is considered accepting the Club’s terms and conditions.
  1. By accepting the Club’s terms and conditions, the customers agree to their personal data being processed by the Club for marketing purposes. The data will be stored in the Club’s main office at 15 Stradomska Street in Cracow. Customers have the right to review and correct their data.
  2. Issues not regulated by these terms and conditions are settled by the Club’s manager.
  1. The Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.

REGULATIONS RELATED TO FITNESS CLASSES AND GYM TRAININGS

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. The Club requires sportswear and sports footwear, clean, changeable, appropriate for the type of training.
  1. Class timetable is announced in a separate work schedule of the Club. The Club’s entry fees, booking and class participation conditions are regulated separately by class and booking schedule and the Club’s price list. The schedule and price list are available at the Club’s reception desk.
  2. The Club reserves the right to cancel classes due to holidays or other unpredictable events.
  1. The Club reserves the right to suspend classes and services due to technical reasons or other significant circumstances of which the customers will be informed separately.
  2. By confirming having read these terms and conditions with a signature, customers state that there are no contraindications to their performing physical activities, using the services from the Club’s offer and that they use the Club’s services on their own responsibility.
  3. The Club requires keeping personal hygiene and cleanliness and using personal towels. Towels can be rented at the Club’s reception desk for a fee.
  1. In case of feeling unwell, injury or harm, the customer should inform the instructor of those facts before the start of the fitness class.
  1. It is forbidden to perform physical activities in a way which might be dangerous to other people being present in the gym area.
  1. Upon finishing a particular physical activity, the equipment must be put back in its place and cleaned with a disinfecting liquid.
  1. In case of quantity season tickets, unused entries do not transfer to the subsequent ticket.
  1. There is a possibility to freeze a season ticket in case of illness or injury confirmed by a doctor’s certificate presented to the fitness manager.
  1. CLASS BOOKING
  1. By accepting these terms and conditions, customers also accepts the class booking regulations – fully available at the Club’s reception desk and at the website: www.atlanticklub.pl/gym-rezerwacje
  2. In case a customer is late for a fitness class, they lose the guarantee of a place in the group regardless of their booking, since their place might be assigned to a customer from the backup list.
  3. A customer who is late for may still join the group after the class starts only in case there are free places and the fitness instructor conducting the particular class agrees.
  4. Warmup is an important element of a training, hence every customer who is late for a class, exercises on their own responsibility.
  1. In case the attendance at fitness classes is lower than 5 people per hour before they start, these classes may be cancelled.
  1. Booking a place in fitness classes may be cancelled up to 2 hours before they start.
  1. In case booking is not cancelled in time or is not cancelled at all, the customer will have to suffer the following consequences: deducting one day from an open season ticket, deducting one entry from a quantity season ticket or paying a 15 zł fee by owners of partner cards.
    1. CONDITIONS RELATED TO BOOKING AND USING SQUASH COURTS
  1. Entering the courts is only possible while wearing footwear which does not leave marks on the court’s surface – footwear with so-called non-marking sole intended for indoor sports.
  2. The Club requires keeping personal hygiene and cleanliness and using personal towels. Towels can be rented at the Club’s reception desk for a fee.
  1. Before starting the game, customers should provide themselves with an appropriate warmup.
  1. For safety reasons, it is advisable to use protective eyewear during games.
  1. The Club bears no responsibility for any harm inflicted to the customer using the court resulting from their non-compliance to the Club’s terms and conditions.
  2. It is forbidden to bring any items which may contaminate the court such as beverages, paper towels etc. inside the court.
  1. Renting squash equipment and bearing responsibility for its potential damage is regulated by separate renting terms and conditions.
  1. Bookings may be made by phone, email, online booking panel as well as directly at the Club’s reception desk.
  1. Cancelling a booked game may occur minimum 24 hours before its beginning or in case the booking is made the same day, up to one hour after the moment of booking.
  2. Customers interested in having fixed bookings are required to purchase a squash season ticket corresponding to the hour of fixed booking.
  1. Cancelling a booked game too late or being absent at the booked date and time will result in deducting an entry from the season ticket and in case of lack of a season ticket, the fee should be paid upon the next visit at the Club.

THE SAUNA

By accepting the terms and conditions, customers also accepts the sauna terms and conditions – available at the Club’s reception desk and at the entrance to the sauna zone.

OWNERS OF PARTNER CARDS (BENEFIT SYSTEMS, FITPROFIT, PZU SPORT, MEDICOVER)
